With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of their dear mom on March 26, 2020 in Val Caron at the age of 94 years. Jeannette was predeceased by her husband Mickey in 1995. Mom will be missed by her family: Claudette St-Jean (Réal deceased), Judy Thériault (Léo), Suzanne Kinnear (Fuzzy deceased), Bobby (Trina), daughter-in-law Joyceline (Rick deceased) and step-daughter-in-law Mieke Pas (Otto Vandenberg deceased). A loving grandmother to Gino (Louise), Michel (Francine), David St-Jean, Serge (Angie), Marc Thériault, Lynne Morreau (Chad), Matthew Kinnear, Michael (Bonnie), Shawn Landers (Becky), Sarah Therriault (Chris), Sally Roy (Kevin), Kayla , also Ingeborg (Jeroem) and Otto Neils of Netherlands. Many great-grandchildren will lovingly keep their dear mémère Landers in their hearts. Jeannette will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, their families and her best friend from Timmins, Joan Laneville (Adrien deceased). She is survived by her sister Anita Maisonneuve (Raymond deceased) and by her in-laws, Walter and Arlene (Landers) Tonelli of Iron Bridge and Viola Lapalme (late Orval) of Timmins and their families. Born and raised in Timmins, Jeannette also lived and had many friends in Val Gagné, Monteith and North Bay. She was pre-deceased by her parents Thomas and Joséphine (Monette) Vézina, her brothers Théodore (Hélène deceased), Réné (Evelyn deceased), Ronald and her sister Georgette all of Timmins, her son Ricky, her grandson Jeremy Kinnear and granddaughter baby Jayden. Jeannette lived at the Elizabeth Centre since 2002 and made many dear friends during her stay. The family is most thankful to the PSW’s, nurses and other staff who loved her and did their utmost to make her life enjoyable. A very special thank you goes out to Thérèse Bédard who was there for mom during the past 17 years and who was like another daughter to her. They are also thankful to the former staff members for their time and generosity. A celebration of life and burial will be held at a later date in North Bay.
