In Loving Memory of “Stephanie” Stefana Orsini 61 years Beloved wife of Richard (Harrison). Loving mother of Mark Rousseau (Julie), Christina Rousseau and Jonathan Rousseau (Shawna), and stepmother of Erin Dumontelle (Dan) and Sean Harrison. Cherished Nonna of Arthur Rousseau and grandmother “Stephie” of Hayley Potvin (Brad), Dylan Dumontelle, Dawson Dumontelle, Talyssa Ross, Emma Harrison, Alexander Sandbom, and Karli Sandbom. Loving daughter of Domenico and Teresa Orsini (Gallo), both predeceased. Beloved sister of Salvatore Orsini (Lise). She is sadly missed by nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles both in Italy and in Canada. Born in Italy, Stephanie came to Canada at the age of eight with her parents and brother, settling in Sudbury. Stephanie worked for Canada Revenue Agency from 1981 until she retired in 2017, and was actively involved in her PSAC union local as a treasurer for many years. Stephanie got a lot of joy from taking ballroom dancing lessons with Richard, and was a natural dancer. She was also a creative person who enjoyed spending time cooking, baking, and sewing. She had a green thumb and her yard was always filled with beautiful flowers and vegetables which she shared with many. Stephanie will be remembered as a kind, giving and generous person who was always quick to help others. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury Friends may call 2-5pm Friday only (Prayers at 3pm Friday). Due to coronavirus directive, only 10 people or fewer will be allowed in the visitation room at a time. Cremation with inurnment in the Civic Cemetery Mausoleum.
