Yvon was one of a kind. I did some work for him at his camp and you couldn't find a better person to work for. On top a being a friend he was a gentle person and a joy to be around. We had some good times at camp and I will never forget you Yvon. Rest in peace you deserve it. Reg Harrison and family

Yvon was our tractor and equipment salesman, mechanic. Over a period of 25 years of growing strawberries in Hanmer. He was however, much more than that. He became a very good friend. On numerous occasions he rescued us by repairing broken equipment in the middle of the night while we were frost irrigating. If not to repair equipment he would appear with coffee and his colourful personality to help us endure the cold nights in the fields. We will miss him very much. Our deepest condolences to the whole family.
