Denise Roy, 59, of SUDBURY passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, February 12th, 2020. Anyone who knew Denise knew that family was her biggest priority. She was the most loving mother and memère that anyone could ask for. She had a heart of gold and helped others whenever she could. Denise was predeceased by her parents Jacques and Alma Roy (née St-Georges) from Markstay. Loving mother to Rochanda (Dan Loyer), Pamela and Robert. Amazing memère to Desiray, TeeJay, Gavin, Harley, and Ryder. Cherished sister to Jacqueline (Fred Fiolka) from Calgary, Suzanne (Stan Wolski) from Wahnapitae, André (Heather Russell) from Markstay, Denis from Newmarket, Francine (Brian Scott) from Whitby, Annette from Cheektowaga, NY, Diane (Neil Oliver) from Burlington, and her lifelong best friend Lise Restoule from Sudbury. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In keeping with Denise’s wishes, there will be no service or visitation. She will be cremated and will spend eternity alongside her parents in Markstay. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd.
