In Loving Memory of Donna Holmes Guse who passed away peacefully on February 17th, 2020 at Health Sciences North, in Sudbury, ON. Loving wife of 59 years to Elmer Guse (predeceased), and mother of Tom Guse (Anita Koskiniemi), Allan Guse (Riitta Koskiniemi), Carolyn Ruby (Tim), Dan Guse (Belinda Blanchard), and Nancy Charbonneau (Robin). She will be dearly missed by her 15 Grandchildren, Matthew Guse (Mercedes), Krista Charlebois (Joey), Kyle Guse, Sarah White (Calvin), Amy Pilbacka (Rylan), Caitlin Guse, Leah Poirier (Dan), Olivia Loseth (Larsson), Emily Ruby, Brett Guse, Owen Guse, Tara Guse, Cameron Charbonneau, Lyndsay Charbonneau, Madison Charbonneau; and her 5 Great Grandchildren, Jacob, Ian, Ava, Evelyn, and Audrey. Dear daughter of Gordon and Verna Tulloch (both predeceased), and sister to Joan Spears (predeceased) (Arnold), Darwin Tulloch (Bev), and Andy Tulloch (Tina). Donna was born in Kynoch, ON but at a young age the family moved to the Sudbury area where her father began work at INCO and they eventually settled in Levack, ON. She attended teacher’s college in North Bay, then returned to Levack to become a teacher and principal in a number of schools in the area. She was spirited and adventurous and enjoyed establishing a home & family in Dowling and a camp on Manitoulin Island – a place she held dear to her heart to the end. Donna was a woman with tremendous faith, and found great joy and peace in her life, but only through trusting in her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We take comfort in knowing that she has found rest in the presence of the Lord. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funereal Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Friday, February 21st, 2020 at 11am. Interment in the Maplecrest Cemetery, Dowling (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Thursday or after 10am Friday). Donations to Teen Challenge North would be appreciated. For donations and messages of condolence, www.lougheed.org.
