Gosselin, E. Elva (Charbonneau)

It is with heavy hearts that our family is announcing the passing of Elva (nee Charbonneau) Gosselin on November 7, 2019 at the age of 84 with her children and grandchildren by her side at Health Sciences North in Sudbury ON. Beloved wife of Pierre M. Gosselin (predeceased). Loving mother of Sylvie Lafreniere of Edmonton, AB, Judy Hodgins (Steward Hodgins) of Sudbury, ON and Michelle Gosselin of Ottawa, ON. Cherished grandchildren, Dave Duchesne, Mathew Duchesne, Shannon O’Halloran, Tania O’Halloran, Emma Iafolla-Lafreniere and Eugenio Iafolla-Lafreniere. She is survived and will be dearly missed by her sister Georgette Charbonneau and several brothers and sister’s in-law as well as all her nieces and nephews, special friends and extended families. Elva will be remembered for her generous heart, her unconditional love for her family, French-Canadian cooking, entrepreneurial spirit and comforting touch to all. Internment and Catholic Mass will be held in the spring of 2020 at the family plot in Charny, QC. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd.
