Bujold, R. Ginette

The family is deeply saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Ginette R. Bujold on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Health Sciences North. Ginette was born and raised in Coniston, Ontario. Beloved daughter of René Bujold (predeceased in 1985) and Raymonde (Leblanc). Cherished sister of Nicole (Maurice) Lavoie, Pauline (Gaston) Michaud and Jacques (Julie) Bujold and predeceased by Richard (Cindy) Bujold. Will be missed by 7 nieces and 1 nephew and 13 great nieces and nephews. Ginette was honest, kind, funny and was completely devoted to her family. She was always willing and ready to give a helping hand or comfort to whoever was in need. She was a talented florist and artist but, extreme chronic pain restricted her activities. The family would like to thank her best friend Monicque Viau for always being there for Ginette. The family would also like to thank the staff at Pioneer Manor, Pine Wing, for the care and understanding of Ginette’s pain. Thank you also to the Palliative care team at Health Sciences North, especially Dr. A. Roch for his efforts in making Ginette comfortable. The family will receive relatives and friends at Église Notre Dame de la Merci, Coniston, on Saturday November 16, 2019 at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Northern Cancer Foundation or Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
