Peacock, R. Laurie

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Laurie Rachel Peacock on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at her home. She leaves behind her two sons Jeffrey Peacock and Marc Benoit, her daughter-in-law Cindy Peacock-Rocca, and her beloved granddaughter Veronica Blouin. Daughter of the late Meryle and John Peacock. Pre-deceased by her brother Jack Peacock and her sister Judith Brousseau. Dearly missed by her little sister Jillian Peacock and Jill’s children Reza, Anisa and Ryan. Laurie is survived by her sister-in-law Fran Peacock and Fran’s children Christine (Sean Mason), Robin and Tobey (Heather), her niece and nephew Alison and John Sanderson, her favourite aunt, Bette Greavette, and many cousins. Laurie’s sons would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to the 3rd floor staff of Extendicare York for their dedicated care, compassion and genuine kindness to their mother. If desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by her family. At Laurie’s request there will not be a funeral service. Private interment of her ashes will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd.
