Murphy, Janet

It is with great sadness that the family of Janet Murphy announces her passing after a brief battle with cancer, on Sunday, December 9, 2018, at the age of 78. Janet will be dearly missed by her husband Philip and her children, Colleen (Robert), Sean (Emma), Brian (Heather), and Thi Mai (Trevor). She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Shannon (John), Callaghan, Nathaniel, Bradley, Dixon, Sullivan and her great grandchildren Stavros and Max. She is survived by her brother Ken Meehan of Montreal. A Funeral Mass in memory of Janet will be celebrated at St-Jude Parish, 247 Mead Blvd, Espanola on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 39, 370 Annette Street, Espanola. Those who so desire, can make a donation in memory of Janet directly to the Hospital for Sick Kids, Toronto. Arrangements entrusted to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd.
