In loving memory of Louise Oliver who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Monday, March 20th, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Mel Oliver (predeceased 1984). Loving mother of Cheryl Lawrence (husband Tim) of Sudbury and the late Lorraine Beaudry (2015) (late husband Cleo 2013). Cherished grandmother of Tanner. She was predeceased by her brother Don Hampel (surviving wife Muriel of North Bay). Louise was born in Pembroke on July 9th, 1928 to parents Frances and Harry Hampel. She moved to Sudbury in the early 1950’s and for nearly 30 years, she worked at Eaton’s. In her healthier years, she enjoyed puzzles and playing cards. Having tea and socializing with her close friends always brought great joy to her life. She will be remembered as a very kind, good hearted and smart individual who had a great memory. Louise was happiest when surrounded by her family and was very proud to be a Jehovah Witness. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium. A celebration of her life will take place at Finlandia Village (Voima Hall, Lepokoti Building, Block F), 233 Fourth Ave. in Sudbury on Friday, March 24th, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. All are invited to join the family for this special occasion.
