Hall, Lucille ""Lou (Belanger)

In Loving Memory of Lucille (Lou) Hall (nee Belanger) 87 Years who peacefully passed away on Friday, July 22nd, 2016 at the Maison Vale Hospice. Survived by her three children, Linda Savage (Ross) of Copper Cliff, Ken (Marlene) and Barbara Sys (Wayne) both of Winnipeg, MB. Cherished grandmother of Andrea (Randy), Craig (Connie), Elton (Alanna), Melissa (Vince), Brett (Sarah), Kendra (Chad) and Kelsey (Riley). Great “Grandma Lou” to Lauren, Maddie, Alivia, Cain and Eric. Dear sister of Larry (Jeanne), Estelle (Arthur Desabrais), Merille and Lawrence (Bonnie). Predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Irving (2013), her parents Claire and Camille Belanger, and brother Fern and sister-in-law Adrienne. She will be fondly remembered by her dear friend and “mall partner” Irene Collins, nieces, nephews and cousins. She loved knitting, crossword puzzles, scratch tickets, and reading romance novels. Mom bravely accepted her cancer diagnosis about a year ago and chose to leave it in the hands of God. She now joins her “Sweetie” whom she sorely missed. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers at the Hospice for their care and compassion, going above and beyond for “Miss Lou”, CCAC (especially Tracey and Leslie), and Rev. Catherine Somerville for her prayerful visits. As per Lou’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Interment at a later date. Donations made to Maison Vale Hospice or St. Andrew’s United Church (Larch St.) will be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.
