Desjardins, Yvon

A light has gone out of our lives, but our happy memories remain. It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Yvon Desjardins at the age of 69 on Thursday, January 16, 2020. He is survived by his beautiful wife and queen, Nancy. He was the son of the late Louisa and the late Leo Desjardins. He will be deeply missed by his son Joel (Leanne and Cole), his daughters Tina, Julie, granddaughter Madison and his furbaby sons Cocoa and Bruno as well as his sisters Marie (Late Louis Thibault) and Diane (Clem) Godin. He was predeceased by a sister Lucie (Norm predeceased) and brothers Andre and Michel (Monique predeceased). Yvon will be deeply missed by his mother-in-law Eleanor (Ludwig predeceased) Kremper. He is survived by several nieces, nephews as well as close family members and friends. Yvon will be remembered for his sense of humor and remaining positive facing his health challenges head on. In keeping with Yvon’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd.
