Pianosi, John Duilio: May 14, 1942 - January 10, 2020. John was a devoted husband to Sheila (Orasi) for 52 years, and a loving father to Marie, and to the late Vicki-Lynn. He cherished his role as Nonno to Vicki and David’s children, Ben, Jillian, and Joey. John was the first born in his large family, and will be missed by his siblings Jean Beaudet (the late Andre), Margaret Faye (Peter), Barb Jennings (Greg), Pauline Welsh, Jim Pianosi (Ann Coles), David Pianosi (Aimee), and Gary Pianosi (Lucy). Dear brother in law to Shirley Orasi (John Hynes), and a beloved uncle to dozens of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Diane Henderson (Randy) and Mary Ann, and by his parents Ezio & Olvide (Biondi). John was a dedicated teacher and principal, who inspired generations of students throughout the Greater Sudbury area. His many friends in Capreol and Sudbury will have fond memories of floor hockey, bowling, and sharing funny stories. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 2-4; 6-8pm Tuesday with parish prayers 3pm Tuesday). Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Hope Church 591 Brennan Road, Sudbury Wednesday, January 15th, 2020 at 10:30am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
