The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the age of 68 years. Husband of the late Elsie (née Johnson) Girard and the late Rayette (née Maltais) Girard. Son of the late Donat, the late Rose-Ann (née Lavoie) Girard and of Thérèse (née Gregoire) Girard of Cochrane. Loving father of Roberta Theobald (Roy) of Chelmsford, Daniel Girard (Jennifer) of Oshawa and step-father of Jennifer Chabot (Justin) of Sault Ste-Marie. Dear brother of Gerald (Susan), Gisèle (Jean-Louis), Ghislaine (Vin), Denise (Leon), Normand (Karen), Denis (Micheline) and Lorraine (Jean-Yves). Cherished grandfather of Zachary and Ashley and step-grandfather of Alistair and Mckenzie. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Interment of ashes to take place in Cochrane, ON. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice can be made by cheque or online.
