Ducharme, Aurèle

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Aurèle Ducharme at the age of 79, on October 9th 2019, at Health Sciences North. Son of the late Rosaire Ducharme and the late Marie-Laure Ducharme (nee Poirier). Beloved husband of the late Isabel Ducharme, partner and friend to Lorraine Rock of Sudbury. Loving father to Tracey Lytle (Jeff) of Kirkfield, ON and Lizanne Ducharme of Sudbury. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his only two grandchildren Jesse and Brooke Lytle. Treasured brother of Claudette Vrab of Sudbury and Gisèle Lagarde (Robert) of Sudbury. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, Legion family, friends and neighbours. Aurèle loved sports, but baseball was his favorite and you could find him in front of the T.V. when a game was on. He was also an accomplished guitar player, loved to sing, entertain and to make everyone laugh. He loved music, but loved his family and friends more. Join us for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday October 16th , 2019 at the Legion , Branch 76, 16 Legion Heights, Sudbury, Ontario from 2p.m. to 6 p.m. and a Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 17th at Saint -Jean-de-Brebeuf Church, 26 Kathleen St. Sudbury, Ontario at 10:30 a.m. Donations in his memory can be made directly to Saint -Jean-de-Brebeuf Church and would be appreciated Arrangements have been entrusted to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd.
