Plouffe, Philippe

The family announces with sorrow his passing in Chelmsford, Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 at the age of 95 years. Husband of the late Jeanne (née Lachance) Plouffe. Son of the late Thomas and the late Régina (née Piché) Plouffe. Loving father of Raymond (Kay), Tom (Jeannette) and Guy (Vivien). Predeceased by his daughter Lauraine. Dear brother of Noella Arcand (late Gerard) and Laura Arcand. Predeceased by his siblings Blanche Davidson (late George), Rita Lachance (Henri), Irene Lalonde, Alcide and Georges (late Claire). Sadly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family expresses their most sincere appreciation to the staff at St-Gabriel’s Villa for their excellent care and compassion. Philippe was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree, Council 9922, Blezard Valley and 4th degree Bishop Scollard Assembly, Sudbury. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. and Friday, October 4th, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
