The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Lise (née Gauthier) Bélanger. Son of the late Raymond and the late Anizia (née Paquette) Bélanger. Loving father of Manon (Robert Berthiaume), Brigitte, Miguel (Sylvie Falardeau) and Carole Nantel (Paul). Cherished grandfather of Patrick, Danica and Alex Berthiaume, Trystan Rutley, Max and Nico Bélanger, Kade and Kenzie Carrey and Mysty Nantel. Dear brother of Sr. Anizette, Ronald (Catherine), Marcel (Lilliane), Jeannette Castonguay (Daniel) and Jeannine Piette (Michel). Predeceased by his sister Lise Lacroix (Alain). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Germain had a great love for every member of his family. Throughout his life, Germain was a dedicated teacher at Rayside High School, an active member of the ""Richelieu de la Vallée"" and a passionate camper. We will always remember the good values that he thaught us and mostly: ""Love one another"" and “Life is beautiful!” The family would like to thank the staff at the Maison McCulloch Hospice and Shared Care for their kind and compassionate care and well as for the support of Father Joseph O’Gah. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, October 4th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford.
