BRABANT, Simone (née Démoré) The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Monday, July 15, 2019 at the age of 84 years. Wife of the late Eugène Brabant Sr. Daughter of the late Ernest and the late Lucille (née Savard) Démoré. Loving mother of Marie Reine Desormeaux (late Arthur), Yvon Brabant (Suzanne), Gisèle Desormeaux (Roméo), Eugène Brabant Jr. (Mimi) and Aline Desormeaux (Michel). Predeceased by her son Michel Brabant (late Irène). Dear sister of Yvette Gobeil (late Albert) and Anita Larcher (late Gérald). Predeceased by her brothers Fernand (late Aurilda), Laurent (Marie), Réjean (Irène), Rhéal (Françoise) and Donald (Adrienne). Cherished grandmother of Donald (Leanne), Alain (Carole), Gilles, Michelle (Andy), Julie (Michael), Natalie (Dan), André, Mélanie (Mathieu), Renée, Chantal (Billy), Steven and great-grandmother of Sébastien, Mathieu, Jasmine, Isabelle, Krystle, Shianne, Cameron, Hailey, Caleb, René, Danika, Kylie, Mia and Brody. In keeping with Simone’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, July 19th, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
