I got to know Phil through working at Inco. I don't know that I ever met a more positive or pleasant man. He was a truly genuine person and I am sorry for your loss.

I still remember the story mom and dad told me about how we chose the house we lived in. We arrived to see 2 houses on Swanson Court and we were earlier than the real estate agent. While we waited, your family invited us in for coffee. Mom and dad didn't know which house they would choose but it was at that moment they decided it didn't matter. You were the reason we chose to live there. For the next decade, you were all a huge part of our lives and were there for us when mom passed. My childhood is filled of memories of you, Mrs izzard, mom and dad filling houses with laughter, playing cards, sitting around the table drinking coffee. You were our family and I'm so honoured that we had the chance to meet you and have you all in our lives. With a broken heart, I send all my love to all of you on what I know is a very difficult time.
