It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sudbury, on Wednesday, June 12th, 2019 at the age of 95 years. Son of the late Josephat and the late Mathilda (née Desjardins) Lanouette. Loving husband of 67 years to Jacqueline (née Lecuyer) Lanouette. Father to Gaston Osborne (Jeannette), Pierre Lanouette (Jocelyne), Nicole Lanouette (Wayne), Marcel Lanouette (Lorraine) and Gilles Lanouette (Tina). Grandfather to Philippe Osborne (Melody), Paul Osborne, Richard Lanouette (Andrea), Robert Lanouette (Marilyn), Craig Myers (Jeannie), Treva Donnelly (Luc), Marc Lanouette, Sylvie Lefebvre (Andre), Kayla Lalonde (Stephan). Great Grandfather to Paige, Sébastien, Annalyn, Jack, Andrew, Deakon, Dawson, Cody, Alysa, Damon, Angelica, Andrée, Daréane, Avril (predeceased), and Justin. Brother to Françoise. Predeceased by his siblings: Regina, Paulette, Excélephat, René, Albina, Cécile, Ovila, Odile, Berthe, Gérard and Ulric. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda, on Monday, June 17th, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Alzheimer Society. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
