Eliev, Eli

Born in Périvol, Bulgaria, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Eli, this April 25th, 2019, at the age of 85, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife, Gisèle GUAY (ELIEV), he leaves behind his daughters; Sonia (Sylvie), Sika, Sofia (Jim Gallagher), Manon (Victor); his step son Richard (Micheline), his grandchildren; Elia, James, Sean, Nicola, Sacha and Joël (Emilie), his sister-in-law; Maria, his nephews; Svetlin and Ilka (Boncho), his brother-in-laws; Benoit (Margot), Maurice (Ginette), and his good friends from the mining communities across Canada. He was vice president of Canadian Mining Enterprises before his retirement and so he leaves behind those many good friends that he cherished and loved very much. A poet deep in his soul, a source of inspiration, he has left us with a part of History, unfinished, immutable.
