Manning, Delma Mary (Michaud)

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Delma Mary Manning (nee Michaud) at age 82 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury Ontario. Delma passed away quietly in her sleep on Wednesday May 1st, 2019. Beloved wife of Ronald Manning predeceased, devoted mother of Jack (Monique), Ronald predeceased, Bruce (Kimberly), Patricia (Stefan Gajda), Cynthia and honorary daughters in Connecticut Janet, Brenda and Janet. Proud Gramma of Aaron, Stacey, Paul, Valerie, Megan, Devon, honorary Gramma to Michael and Joseph, Great Gramma of Hayden, Alexis and Ava. Dear sister-in-law of Sharon Manning and brother-in-law Rene DeRoy, special Aunt to John Hogan and Irma Whidden. Delma will be missed by her loving Uncle Edmond and Aunt Frances Durocher, dear cousin Rose (Stan Rice), her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Loretta Michaud and her mother-in-law Aili Manning. Will be greatly missed by her siblings Delia (Roy), Margaret (Leonard), Thomas (Patricia) and Theresa (Robert). Predeceased by Gloria DeRoy, Wilfred Michaud and George Webb. Delma had a long and dedicated career working with her many friends and acquaintances at the Falcon Hotel in Garson. As per Delma’s request there will be no visitation and cremation will occur with a celebration of life at a later date. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
