Landry, F. Trudance 'Trudy' (Fantin)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Trudance (Trudy) Florence Landry (nee Fantin), on Wednesday April 24th, at the age of 69 years. She was a loving wife to Jack for 45 years, a beloved mother to Cindy (husband Michael) and a cherished Nonie to Lindsay and Jackson. She was a loving daughter to Ruby and Armand Fantin (both predeceased) and a caring sister to Laura and Terry McDonald (both predeceased), Joe (predeceased) and Liliane Fantin, Lawrence and Carol Fantin. She also had a special relationship with Jack’s family and her many nieces and nephews. Trudy had many close friends who were family to her and she included them in everything she did. There was nothing more important to her than her family and friends. She enjoyed working at Revenue Canada (CRA) for many years. Trudy was one of a kind, with a big heart, a great sense of humour and a charismatic personality. She brought smiles to the faces of everyone she knew and spread kindness wherever she could. Trudy was an excellent cook who loved cooking her famous spaghetti and apple pie for the people she loved. Jack (her precious broccoli), Cindy (her little chicken), Michael (her favourite son-in-law), Lindsay (her Bella) and Jackson (her Chuchono) were her world and she dedicated her life to them. We would like to thank Ken and Sandra Desjardins, family, friends, all of the homecare staff that assisted Trudy at home, Dr. Crichton, Dr. Shum, Dr. Dhanoa, Dr. Cano, Dr. Knight, Dr. Singh and his team, the emergency department staff and the nurses on the 7th floor for the excellent care that they took of Trudy while she was ill. You were beacons of light during a very difficult time. A visitation will be held at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury on Sunday, April 28th, 2019 from 2:00-9:00pm with parish prayers at 7:00pm Sunday. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Coniston on Monday, April 29th, 2019 at 11:00 am. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
