McCormick, V. Ernest 'Ernie'

Beautiful, kind and loving soul who will be greatly missed by many. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday April 10, 2019 at Health Sciences North at the age of 82 years. He was the loving husband and best friend of Gloria (Bergeron) McCormick for 60 years. Beloved dad of Bridget (Ron) Terpstra, Elizabeth (Howard) Guilbeau, Vincent (Irene) McCormick, and Thomas McCormick. Cherished Grandpa to Jason (Jenn), Jeff (Sarah), Amanda, Kennedy, Phoenix, Myles, Myla, Tonia (Trevor), Ciarra, and Cheyanne. Great grandpa to Keisha, Noah, Brayden and Owen. The son of the John and Elizabeth McCormick (both predeceased), of Spanish, Ontario and the brother of large, loving family. He will be sadly missed by many friends and extended family. He will be remembered for his kindness and funny story telling, always present joke telling, being the go-to person when one needed advice and his beautiful, forever smile. He was a friendly, loveable and easy-going friend to all those who met him. At Ernie’s request, there will be no public visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
