Dear Betty Ann, Marlene, Doug, Sandra, Donny, and Karen and families: I am very sorry for the loss of your mother! Aunt Jean was so very special to me! My favorite memories are sleeping over on New Year’s Eve, taking me swimming with my cousins, and staying at your cottage many a night. I loved her very much! She was one terrific, wonderful woman. Our deepest sympathies to the family. Being an old friend of Betty Ann I spend time at the Shane’s home and their camp. Mrs Shane was always warm and welcoming. Always a smile and kind words for all. I thought of her as a second mom. She will be missed.

Mrs. Shane was a wonderful person! Her heart was filled with only kindness! She was one of the brightest nurses! Not only was Mrs. Shane brilliant, she was compassionate! I enjoyed many chats with her and learned so much from her. I know Mrs. Shane is in heaven! She was an angel on Earth!
