Pat will be deeply missed by family, friends and his loving cat Nicky. Predeceased by his wife Helen and parents of Cache Bay, On. Loving father of Gary Trahan (wife Giselle) of Onaping and Lori Trahan (partner Simon) of Orleans, On. Cherished grandfather of Nicole Lafreniere (husband Phil), Elyse Trahan, Taylor Trahan (partner Tessa) and Jacob Vance. Great grandfather to Maverick and Eric Lafreniere. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Pat lived a full life. He was born and raised in Cache Bay, On where he met his loving wife Helen. As a young couple they moved to the Sudbury area and finally settled their family home in Levack, On. Pat was a dedicated employee at INCO for 35 years. While in Levack, Pat had many pastimes; he enjoyed the outdoors, playing cards and pool, coaching several local hockey teams and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Pat had the gift of “the gab” and enjoyed a good get together. For the last couple years of Pat’s life he has been living at Meadowbrook Village in Lively, On. The family would like to extend a warm thank you to all of his caregivers at HSN, Bayshore and Meadowbrook. A special thank you to his care worker Tammy who made each day a little better. As per Pat’s wishes there will be no funeral service or visitations. Pat will be put to rest later this spring in his hometown of Cache Bay, On. In lieu of flowers, donations to Jump Start, an organization to help children experience hockey would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
