In Loving Memory of Rochelle Marie Alberta O’Hearn (nee Delorme) 73 years Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Thursday morning, March 7th, 2019 at Maison McCulloch Hospice, Sudbury. Beloved wife of John “Jack” O’Hearn of Lively. Loving mother of Cheryl O’Hearn, Patricia O’Hearn and Paula O’Hearn (Rhandey Houston). Proud grandmother of Andrea (Chris), Ashley (Spencer), Grace (Michael) and great grandmother to Abby and Connor. Dear sister of Robert Delorme (Debra) and Maurice Delorme. Predeceased by her parents Albé and Lucille (nee Thivièrge) Delorme and her parents-in-law Eddie and Lucile O'Hearn. Dear sister-in-law to Rose (predeceased) husband Tim Fitzgerald, Ann Lacroix (Jacques), Jane Landra (Bob), Ron O'Hearn (Betty), Georgina Godbout and Pat O'Hearn. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins (especially Cecile and Grace). Rochelle was born and raised in Sudbury. She married Jack in 1966 at St Anthony’s Church. A lifetime resident of Lively and a devoted member of St Pius X Church, she worked as a pharmacist assistant at the Lively IDA Pharmacy for over 12 years retiring in 1992. Her favourite pastimes were cooking, dessert making, gardening, puzzles, cross stitching and needlepoint, as well as, volunteering with the the Walden Kinsmen Club and assisting with the church CWL. She belonged to TOPS and developed many dear friendships, especially Danielle, Betty-Lou and Anna (aka the Bad Girls). She looked forward to family ball tournaments, going bowling, watching her daughters play ringuette and enjoyed going to the theatre with friends. Her family was her priority and she was so proud of all her girls. Rochelle leaves a rich legacy of love, faith and devotion and will be greatly missed. Her family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Dr. Koop and staff at Lively Medical Centre, Dr. Labonté and Dr. Herst and staff for the outstanding care given to Rochelle during her illness, also their sincere gratitude to Dr. Walton and Dr. Tenhunen and all the staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent St. (at Hazel St.) Sudbury (FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 2-4PM AND 7-9PM MONDAY) Funeral Mass at St Pius X Church, Lively Tuesday, March 12th, 2019 at 1:00 pm (FRIENDS MAY GATHER AT THE CHURCH TUESDAY AFTER 12:45PM) Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium, Sudbury. Donations in her memory to the Northern Cancer Foundation or to Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
