Domengoni, Ines (Favero)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce that our matriarch, Ines Domengoni (nee Favero) passed on March 6th, 2019 at the age of 94. She is now reunited in heaven with her husband Giovanni. Daughter to Luigia and Archangelo. Devoted mother of Peter (Michele) and loving nonna to Celeste and Mathieu. One of 12 children, she grew up in Treviso, Italy. Ines leaves behind her remaining brothers Gino, Serafino and sister Giacomina. Ines truly loved people. Without a doubt it can be said that she had intense love for and great pride in her family. She was a loyal and generous woman to all who knew her. She was an amazing cook and well known for her homemade pasta. Family could always expect a dish of fresh pasta when they visited. In her last 2 years Ines was well cared for at Villa Forum Retirement Home in Mississauga. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 2-4pm Sunday only with parish prayers at 3pm Sunday). Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church 19 Mary Street, Sudbury Monday, March 11th, 2019 at 10:30am. Interment in the family plot at the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
