In Loving Memory of Rita M. (Lalonde) Preseau 84 years Peacefully, Wednesday, March 6th, 2019 at Health Sciences North, with loving family at her side. Beloved wife of Marcel Preseau predeceased 1992. Loving mother of Pauline (husband Webb Hilborn predeceased), Larry (wife Carmen), Susan (husband Gary Patterson), Rick (wife Nicole), Gerard “Joe” predeceased 1990 (wife Linda), and Claudette (husband Mike Madigan). Cherished grandmother of Troy, Sean, Tammy, Tina, Lee, Alex, Jason, Amy, Nicky predeceased, Alisha, Amanda, Mike Jr., Jonathan, Matthew, and 18 great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Josephat and Reina (Poirier) Lalonde both predeceased. Dear sister of Aline Perreault (husband Leo) both predeceased, Huguette Perreault (husband Jean-Baptiste predeceased), Freda Rainville (husband Jean predeceased), Lucille Labine (husband Bernie predeceased), Paul Lalonde (wife Diane), Gaetan predeceased, Laurier (wife Aurella) both predeceased, and predeceased by Romeo, Jean, and Marcel. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Rita enjoyed quilting, knitting, and sewing. She knitted special creations for the babies at the hospital. She was an avid Bingo player who won regularly. She was devoted to her family. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. The family expresses their appreciation to the Amberwood Staff, and the staff of the 7th and 8th floors of the HSN North Tower, as well as the paramedics for their excellent care, compassion, and support. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Sunday) Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 255 Church Street, Garson Monday, March 11th, 2019 at 10am.
