In Loving Memory of Anna Krawczuk (nee Marko) 83 years Peacefully on Wednesday, February 27th, 2019 at her home surrounded by family. Beloved wife of Nikolay Krawczuk predeceased 2001. Loving mother of Daniel, Michael (Gail) and Nicholas (Laurie). Cherished grandmother of Alexandria, Robert, Abbey, Tess and Emma-Leigh (Taylor) and great-grandchildren Serena and Bianca. Dear daughter of Petro and Katherine (nee Hobacz) Marko both predeceased. Dear sister of Eva Cienka (Peter predeceased) and predeceased by Mary Skoratko, Jerry Marko, George Marko and Stella Jackiw (Ted). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Anna was born in Peremyshl, Ukraine. She met her loving husband and moved to Canada in 1961. She has called Sudbury home ever since. She raised her beautiful family and took pride in her sons’ achievements. She was a gifted gardener and a skilled cook and she shared her talents with her family and friends. She was a devout member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. She had a quick wit and a special smile that warmed everyone’s heart. Family was of the utmost importance in her life and she will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the wonderful people who helped Anna in her final moments. There are so many kind doctors, nurses, PSWs, pharmacists, friends and volunteers who made her final wishes possible and the support which was given to our family will never be forgotten. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Tuesday with Panakhyda at 7pm Tuesday) Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church 40 Notre Dame Ave., Sudbury Wednesday, March 6th, 2019 at 10am. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery. Donations to Maison McCulloch Hospice or Heart and Stroke Association would be appreciated.
