Clément, Denise (Patenaude)

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Denise Clément of Hanmer at Health Sciences North on February 23rd, 2019 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of late Gaëtan Clément. Daughter of the late Emile and Diane Patenaude (nee Mercier). Loving mother of Diane Sutherland (Jim) of Hanmer, Guy of Sudbury, Gilles of Hanmer, Michel (predeceased) and Louis (predeceased). Dear grandmother of Josée, Jeffrey, Jason, Christian, Kyle, Cody, Nicholas and Chelsea and great grandmother of six. Dear sister of Claudette Landry (late Rhéal) and sister-in-law of Pierette Padenaude. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers Dolores Bourdeau (late Aurèle), Jeannine Dignard (late Rhéal), Yolande Ménard (late Léo), Jacques Patenaude and Hubert Patenaude. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 28th, 2019 at 11:00 am at St-Jacques Church in Hanmer, where she was a parishioner for 71 years. Friends may gather at the church after 10:30 am on Thursday. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with burial alongside her husband in Valley East Cemetery at a later date.
