Prodanovic, Ilija

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ilija Prodanovic, 75 years, on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of Anka (nee Ribic). Loving father of Marina (Anthony Punda). Cherished Didi to grandchildren Nikolina and Roko. Dear son of Petar and Anica (predeceased). Ilija will be sadly missed by his siblings Branko (Marica) and Ruzica (Duka predeceased), and his extended family and friends. Illija was born in Viskovci, Croatia and moved to Canada in 1967. He will be remembered for his involvement in the Croatian and Soccer communities, as well as, his love of his homeland and Manitoulin Island. His brutal honesty, and generous, loving heart will be forever missed. Donations can be made to Sveti Marko Catholic Church or any charity of your choice. Visitation will be held at Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm.
