My deepest condolences to the family, I was Jean's house keeper. She was a very special person to me, I enjoyed bringing her coffee and a muffin from McDonalds once a month. She was so excited to have this breakfast treat. I loved talking to her. Most caring women I've ever met, so strong and loving. I miss you Jean. Love you xo

Being a good friend of David since high school.I really got to know her when David and I started going on our annual fishing trips--Through these years is when I realized I"ve met a special lady and a wonderful mother of three. Many times just before David I would go out anywhere we would have brief conversations and at the end of our discussions landed up in either a laugh or just good feeling about life in general.I know by sound of her chuckle she enjoyed listening to our annual fishing stories.I feel privileged knowing such a person to I think enjoyed life to the fullest.I would like to say one more thing and I know you would not object--REST IN PEACE Mama Your Friend Always Ben

So sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Jean many years ago in the Delivery Room and have wonderful memories of her soft spoken approach when she was caring for women in labour. I certainly gained knowledge from her calm approach to all aspects of nursing.

I was sad to hear of Jean’s passing, and on behalf of the Davidson Family would like to extend our condolences to all of her family. Jean was a dear friend to our mom June, for many many years. Their chosen profession ,nursing, at the General Hospital meant many drives back and forth to work together along with the Borges! I can still remember my mom saying she better get going as Jean would be waiting at the bottom of the hill ! The last time I saw “Mrs Vuk “ was after my moms passing in 2006, I went to Nicolet St with all of moms knitting needles and wool, as I knew Jean would put it all to good use! She was a lovely lady , and I hope your memories help ease the pain of her passing.

Wendy, David and Jackie: I was so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was such a good friend and colleague of my mom, Luisa Borges and my aunt, Maria. My aunt, Maria and I were hoping to visit your mom before my aunt died in October 2018. We have such fond memories of your mom. I spoke with your mom by telephone over a year ago and it was so nice just to catch up after all these years. Once again, please accept our condolences for the loss of your wonderful mom.

Condolences to all the family. I worked with Jean for many, many years. She was a great mentor to many of us. Very knowledgeable and respected by all the obstetricians for her opinions and experience.
