George was my Dads roomate when he 1st landed in Sudbury, co-worker,and life long fishing partner. He was a huge presence in my life growing up and was there the Christmas I was proposed to. My Dad enjoyed daily telephone conversations with George as did I the times I was at my Dads when he called. My Dad was blesses to have gone with George on a 3 day fishing trip last year and he'll hold that memory dear to his heart. My sincerest condolences to the family and Chris.

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your father. I worked with George at South Mine and knew our shift would be brighter with him being there. From his caring nature, his humour, and colourful personality our shift always ended on a upbeat note. Rest in piece my friend.
