Our hearts were broken when you passed away suddenly, on January 28th, at the age of 65 years while on vacation in the Dominican Republic. Beloved partner and best friend of 38 years to Maureen Chiesa (Topolnisky). Forever loved by his daughter Vanessa Chiesa-Javor (Paul) and his 2 year old grandson William, who stole his heart at first sight. Dear son of Bruna and Giuseppe Chiesa (both predeceased). Peter leaves behind his brother Edward (Irma); many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews, cousins, and loved ones. Peter was a devoted Engineer with the City of Greater Sudbury for nearly 40 years and made a substantial impact on those he worked with. Peter was always helping others with projects and loved puttering at the family camp. He was happiest spending time with his family at camp or on vacations. Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury Monday, February 11th, 2019 at 1pm. Cremation.
