In Loving Memory of Martin “Marty” Gavan 77 years Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, January 13th, 2019 at Health Sciences North Loving father of Debbie Hanna (Brian), Cathy Gavan & Marty Gavan (Corrina). Cherished Papa of Kayla (Steven), Jordan, Devon, Jadyn and Riley & Great Papa of Jayce and Keegan. Survived by his sister Claire Brouse (Graham predeceased), 15 nieces and nephews & many great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clifford & Clara Gavan and his siblings Clifford, Len, Leona and Bill. He will be sadly missed by his companion and best friend Claudette MacDonald. Marty loved hunting, bingo and spending time with his family. At Marty’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with interment alongside his parents in St. John’s Cemetery at a later date. Donations to Diabetes Canada or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
