St-George, Nicole (Pellerin)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nicole St-George (nee Pellerin) on Thursday, January 10, 2019 after a short battle with cancer. Born in North Bay, on May 10, 1961 she was the daughter of the late Georges and Madeleine (nee Desrosiers) Pellerin. She leaves behind her husband of 39 years Gerald St-George, her daughter Angele Chrétien (Yvan) and son Joel. Cherished grandmother of Selena, Mathieu, Lalyta and Kalvin. Dearly loved sister of Hughie Smith, Richard Pellerin (predeceased), Francine Venne (Michel), Roger Pellerin (Ghislaine), Carole Tessier (Gérard) and June Pellerin (Andy Fleury). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Nicole worked as a PSW for the Tri Town Extendicare for 22 years as well as being a foster parent for many years. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Nicole knew what a truly amazing, supportive and hardworking person she was. She dedicated her life to helping others. She loved spending time with family and friends, reading and going to camp. The family would like to send a special thank you to the wonderful staff from the 7th floor at the Health Sciences North for their care and compassion. A Celebration of Nicole’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 54, 373 Broadway St, Haileybury on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made directly to a Palliative Care Unit of your choice.
