Moncion, Normand

The family announces with great sorrow his passing at Maison McCulloch Hospice, Wednesday, January 9th, 2019 at the age of 56 years. Beloved husband of Diane (née Labre) Moncion of Chelmsford. Dear son of Yvonne (née Major) and the late Léo Moncion. Loving father of Alain (Chrissy) and Julie Laverdière (Luc). Dear brother of Denis (Maggie), Carol Deguire (Bruce), Daniel (Lynn), son-in-law of Marcel and Simone Labre and brother-in-law of Rita Gravel (Raymond), Denise St-Onge (Ron), and predeceased by brothers-in-law Bob Gravel and Dan Deguire. Cherished grandfather of Jude, Chloé, Valérie and Julien. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Normand was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and camping. He was a kind and caring man, always willing to lend a helping hand. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 Regional Road 15, Chelmsford, ON, Monday, January 14th, 2019 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St-Joseph church in Chelmsford.
