On January 6, 2019 we lost a beautiful woman who was loved and cherished by all who knew her. At the age of 37 years, her life ended tragically after a lengthy and frightening battle with mental illness. The wonderful person she was will forever be missed by her 6 year old daughter, Violet, who was the light of her life. Also loved and cherished by her parents Roy and Linda, her brother Tyler(Melanie) and their three children, Charlotte, Ethan and Veda, who she loved with the purest kind of love. Also remembered by Violet’s father, Dan Barazzuol and his family. Courtney will be missed by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Courtney was a Registered Nurse having worked 12 years at CCAC. She had many interests and cared deeply about the world around her. The last few years were difficult as she, and those who loved her, struggled with her mental health. She tried repeatedly to seek help, but was unable to attain the peace she so desperately sought. Until we meet again our girl… The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Sunday, January 13th, 2019 from 1 to 4 p.m. Sharing of stories will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home parlor. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
