Viau, Racheal (Patry)

It is with great sorrow that the family announces her sudden passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, January 1st, 2019 at the age of 66. Racheal was an avid seamstress, baker, fisherwoman and gardener. She loved life and lived every day to the fullest. She was a radiant light to all she met and knew. She always gave of her time, skills and life without ever wanting to be in the spotlight or recognized. She was a social butterfly and had many “Timmies” friends, church friends, guild friends. Beloved wife of the late Daniel Viau and the late Louis Matthews. Daughter of Estelle (nee Lapierre) Patry and the late Albeni Patry. Loving mother of Jamie Matthews, Monique Matthews and stepmother of Patsy Campbell, Herve Leclair, Dominique Viau. Dear sister of Andrew Patry, Anne Bibby, Denyse Serre, Mary-Lou Nyp and Colette Lapierre. Predeceased by her siblings Monique Patry, Maxine Ginn, Gerald and Laurier. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements entrusted the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME.
