I was so shocked to hear of Earls passing. We spoke in the fall and he seemed so good, busy building a storage shed. I am a first cousin living in Alberta. We were together as kids many Sundays. Condolences to Peggy and family. Such a difficult time for all of you.

Our deepest sympathies to Earl’s family. Earl brought my wife Kim and I together when we worked at the A&W on Regent street. Earl was a terrific boss and provided guidance whenever needed. Kim babysat for Earl’s young children back in the 70’s. Earl and I worked together over the past few years and he supported the wolves and local charities. I’m glad we had a chance to catch up over lunch about 11 months ago and we looked forward to keeping in touch. Such a nice man with a big and caring heart. We will miss Earl and all that he stood for. With heavy hearts, Blaine and Kim Smith.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear the news of the sudden passing of Earl. I heard from him just 2 days prior. He was a trusted work colleague at Flanagan Foodservice for 25 years. He was someone I could call for advice or an empathic ear during tough days. But first and foremost he was a friend. One of the most gentlemanly persons I have ever had the pleasure to know. He will truly be missed and remembered by all who had the privilege to know him. My very deepest condolences to his family and many friends.

My condolences to the family. Earl hired me to work at his A&W site on Notre Dame back in the days. I had the privilege to work and get to know his 2 sons Monty and Gordy - 2 fine young men. Earl was always kind and easy to talk to. Sorry to hear of his departure. But he seems to have left quite a legacy and lots of fond memories that I hope will bring you all strength and warmth during these difficult times. Sending warm hugs to everyone.
