In loving memory of Rita Simone Deschenes (Harrison), 88 years, who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children. Daughter of the late Ferdinand Harrison and the late Irene Lauzon. Beloved wife of the late Robert Deschenes. Loving mother of Michel (Trudy), Mark (Diane) and Jocelyne (Tom Baader). Cherished Memère of Robert Leonard, Jennifer Patrick, Chad (Annette), Darryl (Mel), Melodie Gibb (Steve), Bradley (Jennifer), Samantha Baader (Billy) and Jason Baader (Christine). Loving great-grandmother of Aimee-Lee, Cassie, Jaiden, Sabrina, Makenzie, Kaylee, Zachary, Brice, Karsen, Scotlyn, Dawson, Mickahël, Norah and Emran. Special friends including Anna and Emily. Predeceased by all her siblings Henri, Leopold, Fernand, Yvette, Beatrice, Gisele and Jeannine. Rita will be fondly remembered by everyone whose life she touched. Her passion in her earlier years for ceramics have left precious memories. Knitting, gardening and her love of flowers were some of her many talents that has inspired us all. Funeral prayers in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 larch Street, Sudbury will be held on Friday, November 2nd, 2018 at 1pm. Friends may gather after 10:30am Friday. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery beside her husband. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Health Sciences North Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
