The family announces with sadness his passing in Sudbury, on Saturday, October 27th, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Son of the late Clovis and Fédéra (née Simard) St-Jacques. Beloved husband to Yvette St-Jacques (née Leonard). Loving father of late Richard St-Jacques (Janet of Ottawa), Suzanne Stephenson of Sudbury, late Gerald St-Jacques and late Daniel St-Jacques. Cherished grandfather of Melissa, Gerry, Chantal and Micheline. Brother of Rita Turner (Brian) and Claire Vachon. He is predeceased by his siblings, Theresa Engblom, Raymond (Marie of Sudbury), Rene (late Louise), Léo, Beatrice Sherrington (late Chuck) and Irene McCrea (John of Sudbury). Jean will be sadly missed by all his great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was a member of the Holy Redeemer Knights of Columbus Council #10888. In keeping with his wishes there is no visitation. Cremation to take place at the Cooperative Crematorium, Chelmsford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Church, Bancroft Drive, Sudbury. A Celebration of life following the service, will be held at the Radisson Hotel, Palladium Room North, from 2 to 6 p.m. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Northern Cancer Foundation. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
