Cresswell, J. Patrick

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Patrick James Cresswell, on October 21, 2018 at the age of 55. Son of the late Shirley (Young) and Gary Martin Cresswell. Proud and loving father of Neil Cresswell. Devoted partner and best friend of Christine Lamarche (Gagnon). Survived by his sister Sheila-Marie Toivonen (husband Bill) and brother Marty Cresswell. Predeceased by his brother David Cresswell (wife Michelle). He will be sadly missed and remembered by his nieces and nephews, his little buddy Roxy, lifelong friend Margaret Jean, Roger McKerral, the Gagnon family and the Young family. Pat had a great zest for life and lived it to the fullest. He loved the great outdoors, quadding, fishing, sledding, turkey hunting with Trevor was one of his favorite things to do. Always the first to offer a helping hand to anyone. A true Leafs fan, he never gave up hope that they would win the Stanley Cup. Pat worked at McDowell Equipment for over 20 years. He will be missed by his co-workers and customers all over the world. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to HSN Cardiac Unit or The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Thursday and after 10:30am Friday). Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel Friday, October 26th, 2018 at 11:30am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
