In loving memory of Shannon Dippong who passed away suddenly in Greater Sudbury on Saturday, October 13th, 2018 at the age of 40 years. Beloved husband of Christina Dippong (nee Labelle) of Lively. Cherished father of Karleigh, Cora and Cole, all at home. Loving son of Linda and Joseph Dippong of Alban. Grandson of Bruce Riley of Leamington. Son in law to Robin and Richard Labelle of Lively. Dear brother of Laura Edge (husband Corey) of Surrey B.C. Brother in law of Cassie Johns (husband David) of Lively, Maria Labelle of Lively and Tom Labelle (wife Jen) of Victoria BC. Beloved uncle to Cody, Aerial, Kaylee, Ryder, Max, Matthew and Olivia. Survived by several other family members. Shannon was born in Sudbury on June 2nd, 1978 and resided in this area all his life. For nearly 20 years, Shannon was employed by VALE as an underground miner. Some of his favourite pastimes were hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, riding his bike and just simply being in the great outdoors. Shannon will be remembered as a very private, loving and caring man. Spending time with his family meant the world to him. He will be dearly missed by all who had a privilege of meeting him. A celebration of Shannon’s life will take place at the Walden Arena (upper hall) in Lively on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A trust fund at the TD bank in Lively will be set up for the children.
