In Loving Memory of Gerard “Gerry” Dupuis 54 years The family announces with great sorrow the passing of our loving brother Gerry at Pioneer Manor on Tuesday, October 16th, 2018. Predeceased by his parents Hermas and Lucille Dupuis (nee Deguire) and brother Wilfred. Dear brother of Eugene (Cheryl), William (Kim), Carole Giroux (Andy) and Jean-Pierre. Cherished uncle of Shannon, Allan, Matthew, Rene, Connor, Emilie, Xander and Dominic & great uncle of Kayla, Sophie, Ryan and Hunter. Sadly missed by his special friend and one true love Tammy. Gerry enjoyed playing cards, especially Solitaire, he loved the outdoors and enjoyed long walks. Gerard was a strong man, a real hero. He lived through many battles with his health but always kept a smile. The Dupuis family would like to say a special thank you to all the staff at Pioneer Manor for all the love and compassion they have given our brother throughout his 10 year residence. Also thank you to the personal support workers Jamie, Vicky, Paula, Tina and Matt and Nicole in dietary, you are all true angels send from heaven. Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Saturday, October 20th, 2018 at 2:00 pm (Friends may gather after 1:00 pm Saturday) Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with burial in the family plot in Lasalle Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
