MacLean, Francis

It is with great sadness that the family of Francis MacLean announces the passing of their father Pioneer Manor on September 17th, 2018 at the age of 87. Gone to join his wife and soul mate Georgette (predeceased). Francis was predeceased by his parents Alex John and May MacLean. He leaves his loving children Patricia (husband Robert) of Hanmer, Brian (wife Helen) of Blezard Valley, Raymond (wife Karen) of Port Elgin, Sandra of Hanmer, Conrad (wife Cathy) of Sutton West. His grandchildren Brian Beaupre, Carol Ann Kilganon (husband Leo), Brett (fiancée Maddie), Miles, Lindsay, Michelle, Connor and Travis Best (friend Emily) and great grandchildren Owen, Cameron and Andrew. His siblings Mary Rochefort, Monica Hickey (Raymond), Allan (Agnes), Anna Proctor, Donald (Tina), Hughie (Darlene) and predeceased by Theresa Cowles and Valentine (Rita). Francis passion was spending time working on the farm and working in the bush with his best friend Freddie. He loved to watch is grandsons play hockey and playing cribbage with his sisters. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home, Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer. (Friends may call 2-5, 7-9 pm Friday only). Funeral mass in St-Kevin’s Church, 4610 St. Thérèse Street, Val Thérèse on Saturday September 22nd, 2018 at 11 AM. Cremation with interment in the Valley East Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
