Vukoja, Viktor

In loving memory of Viktor (Jethro) Vukoja who passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Friday, September 7th, 2018 at the age of 79 years. Viktor was born in Croatia on February 18th, 1939. Beloved husband and best friend to Joan (Worman). Loving father of Jim Savage (predeceased), Marilyn Gavrel (George), John Vukoja (Sharron), John Savage (Tammy), Lisa Roy (Frank) and Rodney Vukoja. Devoted grandfather to Jessica Savage, Stephanie Savage, Meaghan Vukoja, Brittany Savage, Tyler Savage, West Roy and April Roy. Vik enjoyed traveling, gardening, spending time with friends and teaching his family valuable lessons. He is also survived by his sister Kathy Rezo (Tony) of Sydney, Australia. Sadly missed by his niece and nephews, Zelko Rezo of Sydney, Australia, Steven Rezo (Jillian) of New Jersey, USA, Susie Sparling of Florida, USA, David Croteau of Windsor, ON and Gordy Croteau of Arizona, USA. He touched many lives and had many friends. The family wants to send a special Thank-You to Dr. Knight, Dr, Gill and the caring staff at Health Sciences North of the 4th floor of palliative care in the North Tower. He was truly grateful for their wonderful effort and continuous hard work during this difficult time. Donations can be made to the Health Sciences North, palliative care 4th floor or Shriners Sick Children’s Hospital in Toronto in lieu of flowers.
