In Loving Memory of Ian Alexander MacDonald 34 years Tuesday, September 4th, 2018 in Toronto. Beloved son of John and Diane (Trudel) MacDonald. Loving brother of Neil MacDonald (Brianna McLean). Special uncle to Grace Elizabeth. Cherished fiancé to Carly Buziak. Much loved godchild and nephew to Mike and Nicole MacDonald. Sadly missed by aunts and uncles John & Janice Fournier and Susan MacDonald. Dear cousin to Brian, Allison, Michelle, David, Steven, Amy, and Kevin. Ian was a charismatic young man who strongly believed in family and friends. He cherished every moment with the people he loved. Above all, Ian found his greatest love and happiness with his best friend and fiancée, Carly. He was looking forward to spending his life with her and creating lifelong memories together. Ian was a tireless, ambitious, and hardworking man, always setting new goals in an already successful career. His true passions were writing, and playing music with his friends any chance he could. Ian was an athlete who enjoyed many sports at a high level and had high hopes for his Toronto Maple Leafs in the upcoming season. Although Ian’s time with us was much too short his drive and ambition to live his life his own way will forever remain an inspiration for his family and all who knew him. Funeral Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home – Hanmer/Capreol Chapel 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer Monday, September 10th, 2018 at 10am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Sunday and after 9:30am Monday). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
