Loving father of Shawn and Julie Day, Bart and Tracey Day, Darren and Suzanne Day, Everett Day and Marnie, and Andy and Valarie Day. Cherished Grampa of Grant, Alyssa (Brady), Victoria, Alannah, Brandon (Emily), Sarrah (Kyle), Bailey (Dylan), Sabrina (Kyle), Meghan (Andy), Kyle (Bailey), Cam (Shelby), Brent, Jade (Trevor), Samantha (Dalton and Liam), Nicholas, Bella and great grandchildren Riane, Spencer, Warren, Wendal, Ruby, Ellis, Sarah, Calli, Marek and Shay. Loving son of Oben and Thelma (Mann) Day both predeceased and special son-in-law of Bill and Olive (Peever) Guse both predeceased. Dear brother of Irene Brown and Elmer Frank, Audrey and Ted Gregoire (predeceased), Gerry Beauregard and Lindsey Barter (predeceased), Betty Daoust and Mark Cronk both predeceased, Peggy and Bob Plant (predeceased). Dear brother-in-law of Elmer (predeceased) and Donna Guse, Melvin and Joan Guse, Gordon and Elaine Guse, Everett and Hanna Guse both predeceased, Marjorie and Norm Barber, Joan and Bertle Sword, Jim and Heather Guse and Grace Johnston. Bill was born February 14, 1934 and came to Sudbury to find work at 16 years of age and started his business in 1954. He married Rhona in 1956 and had 5 sons. He built his business in the Sudbury area, supporting the community and the many people he employed with his generosity. Bill worked every day up until his death. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent St., Sudbury at Hazel St. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Wednesday) Funeral Service in Glad Tidings Church 1101 Regent St., Sudbury Thursday, August 30th, 2018 at 11am. Interment in the Maplecrest Cemetery, Dowling. In lieu of flowers, donations to Camp Aush-Bik-Koong, Pregnancy Care Centre, Samaritan Centre or Teen Challenge North would be appreciated.
